Xarelto MDL Judge Calls for Submission of Plaintiff Fact Sheets

Individuals currently pursuing litigation linked to uncontrollable bleeding while using the anticoagulant Xarelto have 60 days to file a Plaintiff Fact Sheet with the Court.  Plaintiff Fact Sheets are often utilized by Courts in large multi-district litigation (“MDL”) cases to help efficiently gather information about plaintiffs as part of fact discovery and bellwether trial selection. A Plaintiff Fact Sheet contains questions regarding a patient’s medical history, his or her experience with Xarelto, including bleeding side effects.  With more than 600 Xarelto related cases currently pending in the MDL, the informational sheets will serve as an organizational mechanism to determine the basic facts of each particular case and aid in resolving individual claims.
